Rubick arrived at our home in October 2006.  After years of planning with his breeders, we decided to import Rubick to bring new lines into our breeding program.  We were looking for a line with proven field ability and Rubick demonstrated he had this when he gained his American Kennel Club, Junior Hunter (JH) title easily at the age of 7 months while still in America.  His sister also gained her JH title at the same trial.  His sire and dam also have Master Hunter (MH) and Junior Hunter titles as well as NAVHDA NA Prize 1 ratings.

At 11 months of age Rubick entered conformation shows for the first time in Tasmania and won  2 x Junior in group.  Rubick suffered a torn ligament shortly after commencing his show career and was retired to rest his injured leg.  His leg is now healed and we are starting to show and agility trial him.

Rubick is very bird orientated and is forever stalking and pointing birds in our garden.  He has settled easily into our household with the other dogs, our cat and children.  He is very loving and gentle natured and just loves to have pats and cuddles for hours on end.

Sons out of different dams won best of breed at both the Royal Hobart Show (Iceana Thunderstruck) and Royal Perth Show in 2008.

His daughter (Aust Ch Iceana Orinoco Flow TD) has her Australian Champion and Tracking Dog titles.
